Stomach pain

Hi everyone. I had surgery May 17th and have been doing great until last night. I ate some pretzels and then about an hour later I started feeling sick at my stomach. I had quite a bit of pain in the lower part of my stomach. I walked around the house for about 20 minutes but that didn't seem to help. It still hurts this morning. It's kind of a shooting pain that gets stronger at times and then seems to almost go away. Any ideas on what to do? I ate some Tums last night but that didn't help either. I'm at work right now but now sure how long I will last. Any suggestions are welcome. Hangin' in there, Becky

Hey Becky, I am sorry to hear about your pain. I would call your doctor because it could be many different things. All we can do is guess at this point. I hope you feel better soon! Hugs, Christine

If the pain is around your belly button, that's about where you would develop and ulcer now that your guts are rearranged. Call your doctor, for sure. Hugs, Susan

Becky, I could be totally off base, but you might try some meat tenderizer with water. Just a thought that came to mind. Pretzels are very dence, and maybe someof it got stuck, then again could be an ulcer. I would call Dr. as well if no relief is found. Good luck to you! Brenda
