I'm 4.5 post op and having a very difficult time dealing with PMS. Now that I'm not able to take super strength MIDOL, I'm not sure what to take. My physician is pretty much at a loss since I'm taking 20 mg of Lexapro. I'm really having a bad day and would appreciate any advice offered. I'm down 61 lbs and feeling great with the exception of my PMS symptosm. I told my boss this morning that if I killed someone I could not be held responsible . . . please! Hugz, Nancy Jo

Dear Nancy, I started having problems with my period shortly after surgery. Now, I have always had hard, heavy periods, but this time I decided to do something about it. I talked to my doctor and she sent me for an ultrasound and then I had to go to a gynecologist. He is doing a biopsy on two "growths" in my uterus next Wednesday and then he will do an ablation as long as the growths aren't cancerous. I know that doesn't do you any good with your PMS problem, but I read somewhere once that taking B-6 will help PMS symptoms. Also, there are a lot of herbal things out there that maybe your doctor might let you try. It's worth a shot!! Take care and I hope you find relief real soon.
