OMG I was freaking out!!!!!!!!
After lunch today I looked down and noticed my diamond engagement ring was missing. I bet you my bp was through the roof. I looked all over the office and after tracing my steps I finally found it. It was in the bathroom garbage in the papertowel I used to dry my hands. God was definitely with me at that moment. I am so releaved. I have been putting off getting ring guards because I have so much more to loose. But I am going tonight to the jeweler to get my rings fixed so that this does not happen again.
Thanks for letting me vent about my perdicament(sp?) .

I am glad that you found it. My wedding ring has been unwearable for a few months now. DH and I decided that closer to December we would look at getting it resized. Dh and DS bought me a blue topaz ring to wear until we get my ring resized. We also bought the extended warrenty. I orgionally had it sized 1/2 size smaller than I was wearing and now it is ready to come off too. We will take it this weekend and go down to a 7 on it. My wedding ring is a 9 1/2. My fingers are getting smaller too! YEAH!

I have done the same exact thing with my ring - found it in paper towels. Luckily before throwing it in the trash.
I got a ring guard at 2 months out - apparently fingers are supposed to look like sausages. Who knew???? Mine seemed to shrink very fast.
Now even with the ring guard mine is very loose.
I lost my wedding band on my honeymoon so I REALLY don't want to lose this one. We were going to the beach and I said to my DW - this feels loose. "Don't even think about taking it off". I never wore a ring before an didn't know how it should feel. Well, I should have taken it off but didn't and some where in the sand off Hawaii is a 4 day old wedding band. Unless some lucky beach comber found it.
Thank God you found it...I know it would have been devastating to lose it! My wedding ring kept falling off in the shower when I lathered up but I kept wearing it. My husband, who is currently stationed in Iraq, came home for his R&R and witnessed the mad scramble to get the ring as it bounced around in the shower before it headed down the drain. That very day, he wisked me and my new found tiny fingers to the jeweler to have it resized...from and 8 to a size 6 can you believe? It has now been 2 months since the sizing and it's lose again. I have always had chubby little hands, who knew there was a skinny girl in here?! Best of luck on your journey. Have a wonderful day.
