I am taking two eckerk (small tablet type) multi vitamin daily. I am due to go back to the doctor in October as this will be 5 months out. I have lost approx 70lbs. I had to go back two times to have intesion opened wider in the beginning and I was sooo sick and could not get the water to even go down. What other vitamins are ya speaking of?? I hear B-12, how do you take B-12??? also, calcium and potassium I am not getting enough of. Any suggestions!!!

Hey Revonda! I too am at -70# and am at 4.5 months post op. I have found the vitamins that work best for me are: 1.)1 of the Costco children's chewable dinosaurs, they have all the vitamins and minerals recommended and they taste pretty good. 2.)1 per week of Twin Labs B-12 sublingual tabs, taste like cherry and desolve under your tongue. 3.) For Calcium-5 Tums Smoothe Desolve tablets, Tropical Smoothie is the best they taste like bottle caps candy. Peppermint is pretty good also. I have always been a big candy muncher so I replaced it with my calcium at night. Works for me, good luck!! Krystal

Revonda - Here is what I take: 2 tablespoons of KAL Cal-Mag+ One in the AM & PM. It's calcium citrate vs. the calcium carbonate as in tums. I was told to use calcium citrate. 2 Centrum Adult Chewables at Noon. 1 1000 B-1 every AM. 1 1000 mg of B-12 every other day. Under the tongue. 2 1000 mg of Biotin - one in the AM & PM. It's is to aid hair, skin and nails. I also get some potasium in my protein drinks - but no additional supplements for that. John

You know John, I was thinking of upping my Centrum Chewables to 2 a day because I was noticing some of the numbers were a bit low. Have you had any trouble with doing this?

No problems at all. It's no harder to chew up one than it is two. I am just very careful not to take the Calcium with the vitamins. The iron and calcium are a no-no together. I think it works pretty well, because my lab work has been very good.
