Finally a protein drink I can handle!

Yes, you guessed it...Today my order of Roadside Lemonade by Nectar arrived to the store. It was not cheap but they did offer me a 20% discount with my surgery card. The best part is that it actually tasted good! Yeah! Finally something that tastes yummy and is good for me! I'm lovin it! -Gerriann 4 months post-op and down 101 pounds!

Gerriann- Does it taste better than the fuzzy navel nectar? I've got a tub of that and I just don't really like it. It's too sweet. Hugs, Susan

Susan, have you tried the other Nectar flavors? Maybe some of the others (Carribean Cooler, Crystal Sky, Very Berry Cherry, Apple Ecstacy) wouldn't taste as sweet. I've found that only the Apple flavor works for me; I don't like the others. Or you could try adding more water to it, or (as some people have tried) adding Crystal Light to it? Hope this helps!

I have only tasted the Lemonade. It is a bit on the sweet side as it is sweetened with spelinda and I was looking for something much more tart. So tonight I mixed it with the Minute Maid Light Lemonade and it is just the right taste of tart and sweet for me. Try adding yours to a crystal light or the Minute Maid light flavors. Geriann, if I may ask, what was the name of the store where you bought the protein? Was it something like the Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, Hi-Health? I order my Apple Ecstasy online because it seems like they're not sold in stores, at least not in AZ...
