Ok I am being funny .. But I have been on a stall out now for about 10 days.. and BAM .. got on the ole scales today and I am at 209 . Only 10 pounds to be under 200 -- and 13 more pounds to be at the Century Mark .. Boy was I ever glad to see those numbers today . I have to share this ... I walk on a treadmill almost daily but last night I decided to try the eliptical .. well... let's say it tried me ... I tried to get on and my foot got stuck under the pedal .. I really thought it was broke but it only tore the skin off my shin ... I had to laugh cuz the lady next to me was running like mad on the treadmill and all I could think of was " boy I look like a ditz .. I have never been on an eliptical in my life ... I guess you had to be there ... But I will be smiling all day today ... To everyone .. keep up the great work and if you are at a stall out like I was .. Up your water .. stay on track and just know it will happen .,. Take care of you ! Natalie

I as well just on tuesday came off my 3 week stall out, but I noticed that I was still loosing but it was inches instead of weight. In the three weeks I lost 5 inches from my waist. Hey I can see my shoes, when they are on my feet. I noticed if i work out (swimming, walking, light weight) that I don't loose. The whole 3 week stall I was working out for the first time. And then I got hurt on friday and have not worked out since and I am back to loosing. Go figure. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining but I love to work out and I love to loose weight. seems like a double edge sword You are doing great keep up the great work.

WAY TO GO!!!! You are one amazing chica! I've been stalled lately, even went UP a couple of pounds and finally back down to where I had been, and it seems like an eternity but I know I just have to perservere. The elliptical story is funny-I think we all have stories like that, although mine doesn't involve injury (huggggggggggs to you-sorry bout that). Now that I go every day to the gym and I'm there for about an hour, I see lots of new people wander in and look self-consciously at the machines and struggle to get them to work. I'm just glad whenever I see someone try something new. I want EVERYONE to be fit and healthy. I want there to be NO NEED for WLS in the future. I LOVE the elliptical trainer I use. I went 65 min the other day and I could have gone forever! My friend came in during the last 15 minutes and gasped when she saw how long I'd been on. I kept telling her, "I can stop whenever I want" like a total addict. Finally I decided that I'd go spend some time on the treadmill to cool down. You are going to be in ONEderland before you know it! You are such a success! Keep on posting-you really inspire me! Hugs, Susan

Something about the Eliptical I just do not understand - for the brief time I was on it - seemed like I was really working my legs and butt .. I guess I just need to learn more about the machine itself . Trust me .. I had stalled so bad .. and shhhhh I went to pee .. ( sorry folks ) got on the scale and it was gone .. I took my picture today of me in the hospital - it was really gross and showed it to my boss .. he said who is that .. I said me silly .. he said no way .. I said yepper .. had me a gastric bypass I did .. he turned ot me and said - yep my wife did too . You inspire me with your tail on that eliptical .. how the heck do you do it .. Keep up the good work you looser you ! Nat

The first day I went on the elliptical trainer I went for a whole 5 minutes maybe? And it just about killed me. It does pretty much only work the legs unless you are confident enough to let go of the handlebars and swing your arms some. My legs are steely underneath all this sag and bag of skin. And my butt...well, thank goodness it's helped there. For the first few weeks after I started loosing, I had NO BUTT-just this huge tire of fat above my butt. Now I'm losing the tire and have some shape to my booty. I can't wait for you to post this picture from the day of surgery. I bet it's a good one. I added a couple of new ones to my Yahoo photos (the www below) from today. I can't believe it's ME. Hugs, Susan

HERE HERE! I'm with all of you. I have been on my first plateau for about 2 weeks. I ate late last night even though I know better. Then, this morning the scales finally moved and I'm down to 189. I just refuse to sweat the plateaus cause I know they are going to happen. Christie 244.5/189/138
