I have been seeing lately now that we are approaching our 4th month - more of us doubting or comparing ourselves to others . I am here to tell you that each and everyone of you are a success story waiting to be told . I know that goals are being met, things you never did before are coming to life ... you are looking better - feeling better .. and that is what matters .. not what that damn scale says ... I know that I am feeling so much better , I am off my diabetes meds .. I can walk like I am on fire and life is not such a chore anymore . I want you all to look at your life now .. no matter what the weight loss has been and see all the great new beginings before you . Yea we all struggle to loose more and do what is right .. but I am here to tell you that we are all survivors , and so lucky to be alive . We did it, we came thru one of the most drastic surgeries other than heart bypass .. and should be proud as a peach that we DID IT ! So when you are looking down at the scale- smile no matter what the numbers say .. and know that you ARE A SUCCESS no matter what . Love you guys ! Take care , Natalie

Thanks Natalie, Wow. I needed that! I have been thinking my weight loss is too slow, and that I will never make my goal, that I will fail at this great gift I have been given.... I guess I am not alone. That is a nice feeling. Thanks for he reminder. Anne 313/299/232/goal 170

You are right on the money !!! My life has changed so much in just four months. I can't wait to see what the future holds. Time goes so fast. This journey will be over before we know it. Let's keep our heads held high, do our best and appreciate every day we are given. Angie

Thanks for the encouragement. It was much needed today. I was excited to weigh myself (I only weigh once a month at Drs. office and now I only go every 3 months so I weighed at home, but scale was set to Drs. office) and I was disappointed I had only lost 8 lbs. I had lost 14 each of the las 2 months and had been told that 10 lbs. was average. So I had great hopes of being down at least 10 lbs. Your posting put things back in perspective for me. Down 63 lbs. from before surgery and 68 from the weight I left the hospital at is not bad and from a size 20-22 to a size 16 pants and XL tops. Not bad for 4 months. Thanks again.
