It finally happened to me this morning...The day I have been waiting to come for years. I got up this morning and the scale read 199!!! I want to jump up and down and yell it to the world!! It has been SO many years since I have been below 200lbs.....I think at least 7yrs!! I never imagined that I would be peeling away the years of time this quickly. I am losing a lot slower then others but it actually seems fast to me sometimes. I think now I am going through a little bout of depression or something. It could just be the fact that my husband is deployed and I have 3 kiddos at home going through this wonderful hurricane season by ourselves. Plus we miss him a lot. He is in Germany but I just got word he will be forward deployed from there to the desert somewhere. We will be fine I guess I just needed to get that off of my chest!! Thank you in advance for reading! I still have a ways to get to my goal but I am sure feeling good about this goal reached. Julie 265/199/130 -66lbs....woohoo

YAH, JULIE!! Congratulations! Actually I was talking to a friend this morning (she had the surgery @ 1yr ago) and my first goal is to be under 200, but it's the little things I notice the most like shoulder definition, and my clavicle and chin lines are starting to show through, so although I have a ways to go, it's the little things that keep me going I will say a prayer for your family to keep you safe until your husband comes home Best wishes, Michelle

Way to go Julie !!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a slow loser too, but it is still faster than the old fashion way, which did not work for us anyway. I know what you mean about the hurricane season. I am watching Frances come this way. We were going to take a road trip to Daytona Beach this weekend for labor day, but for now I am staying put. I pray that God watches over your husband and your family. I still have a ways to go to get below 200 but I think it has been about 10 years for me since I have weighed that. Have a great week!!!! WAY TO GO JULIE. Isn't just a great feeling? i had my surgery may 4th. sometimes seems like i'm loosing slowy, then other days are faster. So far i've lost 84 pounds and a total of 115 pounds. I still have a long way to go, but i know i will make it too. I will keep you and your family in my prayers for saftey through hurricaine season and for your husbands safe return. let us all know when he goes to the dessert. thanks. jennifer from Akron, Ohio.

WTG JULIE!!!! That is some amazing loss you have there! It's been 7 years for me, too. It IS a very fast journey, even for us slowpokes. A huge thank you for you and your family's sacrifice for the good of the country. I want our servicemen HOME! I will keep your family in my prayers that you will all be safe and healthy. So many people feel powerless to do anything towards that goal, and here you are, working your butt literally off! Keep up the great work! Hugs, Susan
