I read the posts from about a week ago on the hair loss -- me too...it's coming out like crazy. A couple of people mentioned Biotin -- is that over the counter? How does it come and what is the recommended dosage? How long do you take it? Thanks ahead of time for your input! Marcia

Marcia Biotin is available at GNC and other health food stores. It comes in capsule form. I empty a capsule into about 4 oz of 1% milk and drink twice a day. It really does work. Also if you can increase your protein intake with a supplement that will help too. I use Isopure Vanilla it has 25 grams of protein in 1 scoop which I add to milk with fruit and blend. I put the mixture into the freezer for about 45 minutes and eat like a slushy. Carolyn

I take 1000 mg twice a day. Mine is a lozenger. I get it at The Vitamin Shoppe. I have tried an orange and lemon flavor. The lemon tastes better and disolves quicker. The orange one is sublingual - it's OK. Of the two the lemon is better - IMHO. With the improvement in my skin and nails - I will take it forever.
