3 Month Blood Test Results ..

I received a call today from my NP. My blood results are back and I am I pleased to say that all is GREAT ! The one I am most proud of is my A1C . This is the test that determines your blood sugar levels for the past 3 months . I was a diabetic before WLS . My A1C before was 8 . Today I sit here with a 4 . I am truly blessed . The only one that she had a concern with was my iron levels - she said I was a little anemic . So I have began taking an iron suppliment along with Prenatal Vitamins . I am 70 Pounds gone Forever Baby .. and Love the way Thinner Feels . Sometimes I think this is a dream .But today I pinched myself and no dream .. This is the Real Thang .. Have a great Nite ! Nat - that's awesome. I had my blood drawn the other week. I was told if I didn't hear anything all is well. I haven't heard anything so oh well! Great job with the A1C!!!

CONGRATS!!! I know you are thrilled with those wonderful results. I don't get the rest of my blood work results for another week yet. I hope mine turn out as good as yours.......although I do hope my iron isn't low! I can see more and more everyday that 'healthy' is way more fun and feels better then anything I could stuff in my mouth!! Julie 265/201.5/130

Nat, Those labs are really great. A question though, did you go to your surgeon or your medical doctor? My next appt is at 5 months, and will not be covered by my insurance. I am planning on having my medical doctor draw my labs and then fax them over to my surgeon. My surgeon was ok with this and even told me what he wanted. Anyone else had to do this crazy stuff????
