Could it really be?
Yesterday I took a huge leap of faith and bought myself a scale. I really didn't want to do it, because in the past I have been such a slave to that scale, but I couldn't wait even a few days to weigh in at my surgeons. So according to this new scale, I am down nearly 70 pounds since surgery! While I pray that this is accurate (I'll find out on Wednesday) even if it is ten pounds off I will still be happy
I love my scale!!!! In fact I have 2 of them. One in the kitchen and one in my bathroom. I use my scale as movation the more I lose my weight the more I want to lose. I weight everyday and yes sometimes the scale does not want to move, but that gives me the push to get outside and move my body.

Scales are EVIL. EVIL I say!
Well, maybe that's a bit harsh. I admit I have hopped on the doctor's like scale at my gym. (You know the one with the big and little sliders and the balance beam?)
I hated them my whole life! Between gaining weight for football, loosing it for wrestling and baseball I was a slave to the scale for too many years. And did some really really stupid things to get that sucker to read the right number. Until I chucked it all and didn't care anymore.
Now things will be different. The scale will be a tool not a device to torture me.
Naa...
Scales are PURE EVIL. EVIL I say!
Jennifer,
I don't have a scale, but weigh at work once a week.
My advice to you is like any piece of machinery, you will need to calibrate your scale...after you go to the dr next week, make your scale match your doctors and do so every time you go to the dr. Otherwise, my guess is you will go crazy knowing which one is the correct one.
Congratulations on your weight loss!
