Shopping
Cheryl,
I had to go bra shopping over the weekend, and that was a dilemma, too! I stood at the bra racks forever thinking, "Geez, I REALLY don't know what size to try!" I ended up taking several different sizes back to the fitting room. I am wearing a 36 now when I used to wear a 42! Woo-hoo!
Fortunately, I was an eternal optimist. I never threw out/gave away my clothes from my thinner days, so I have lots of clothes for the "in-between" phase. That way, I can save up my cash for a super-duper shopping trip when I reach goal.
The secondhand idea is a good one, too. There really is no point in spending good money on in-between clothes that will be too big in a couple of months.
As for your pants....maybe all you need is a good belt!
Jennifer,
Bra shopping.... the thought makes me shudder! It's a nightmare trying to find one that fits and is comfortable. I have already been wearing all my stuff that I saved. I weigh less now than I have in 10 years or more and since I moved twice during those 10 years, I weeded out alot.
I'll think about the belt idea. I haven't had one that fit in so long, it never occurred to me!
