The best thing I've ever done!!
I agree...
Crossing legs is one of the best things...
How about...
Being able to work out at the gym for 2 hours (and still feeling pumped!!)
Putting on your "fat jeans" and having them fall off!!
Seeing people you haven't seen in a long time (who don't know you had surgery) and having them try to figure out "whats different?"
Having a day that you don't throw up... that's a GOOD thing (and unfortunately... I don't have too many of those) but the the good thing is that I can cross my legs when I sit down, after I've thrown up!!
There are LOTS of GOOD things... and I'm sure our lists will continue to get longer...
Congrats on your weight loss... Keep up the good work!!
Aloha,
Loree
Wow .. waxing now that is something I have not done in a long time. Good for you !
Well... as to crossing my legs.. OMG yes .. it is great .
I walk now like a professional - with weights on my feet and flying like a gesel around the bloc****il I am so cardiacly spent .. man does it feel good .
And I know this might sound a little weird .. but for the first time in decades .. I can see my ( private parts ) with out lifting up me fat !LOL Sorry I had to throw that one in there .. as it was a revelation !
I just feel good .. no Great .. I look in the mirror and am really seeing me change just like a butterfly . I really enjoy the compliments when someone calls me skinny ..
I feel more girly now .. is really nice to feel pretty again . I have a long way to go but I will continue to morph for a while ..
Good luck to you and Congrat on taking care OF YOU !

Dear Debbie-Congratulations to you on your weight loss! You are doing a wonderful job. I just recently colored my hair too and I just cannot believe the difference it has made! And yes, crossing my legs feels like something special. It is just unreal the wonderful feelings that come from losing the weight and being able to do things, wear things, "see" things that we couldn't before. This surgery has been such a blessing to me and my family. I can't thank God enough for letting it happen.
I wish you all the best in the rest of your journey Debbie!!

Nothing like a new "do" and some girly type pampering to lift your spirits. I've been treating myself to pedicures ever couple of weeks as well. Before the surgery, I felt so hopeless. Now, I feel like the future is full of wonderful possibilities and I'm enjoying life again. I'm glad you're pampering yourself, Debbie. It's a good thing!
I feel the same way. I feel great finding pleasure in non food items. Today I bought some new make up from Mary Kay. I want a new look to go with the skinner me. I love being able to cross my legs. Keep up the good work Debbie. We deserve to do good things for ourselves.

Speaking of uplifting experiences, I just had to post this... I went out to "Vickie's" (AKA: Victoria Secret) to be re-sized since everything in my dresser drawer was letting me down... literally! I tried on their new "Body" bra but was still disappointed. They directed me to Lane Bryant where they were having a sale. Buy one bra and get the second 1/2 off. Once everything got situated, and the girls were back where they belonged, I was stunned to see that I have curves again! On the way home, I stopped by the bookstore. Low and behold, two men stopped to hold the door open for me as I approached the entrance. I can't even remember the last time this happened. Everyday there is something new that is pleasing and I don't take any of them for granted. IMy best to all of you! Deb -65lbs
