What activity have you done recently that you would not have done had you not had WLS? Mine, I rode rollercoaster rides at Silverwood Theme Park, and have allowed photos taken when I have been in a bathing suit. Big steps. The rollercoaster rides were so much fun with my husband and I keep thinking that the swim suit will not fit next year so what. What is yours? -Gerriann 75+ pounds gone forever!

I have two things that I have done that I will treasure forever!!! #1 I laid out in the sun in a swimming suit #2 I rode the big yellow slide with my daughter at Wisconsin's State Fair. I cannot wait to go on a rollercoaster! I am hoping to go to Six Flags next week. Great question, Jenn R.

I got on the eliptical trainer at the gym. OMG. It would have killed me before surgery. And there's the little things, too...like when I'm in the middle of something upstairs and my daughter wants to show me something downstairs--now I just go and look; before I used to tell her to wait until I was going down there for some other reason. I don't hesitate to go up and down the stairs now. Great question! Now, when are ya gonna post them bathing suit pics ??? Hugs, Susan

I hiked up the side of a mountain without losing my breath (too much) I made it and felt good! Put on a tankini that showed a bit of my stomach and felt good about it. Swam in the lake and "beached" in the sun no regrets! Good Post! Kristin 200/153/120

I got in a bathingsuit and went swimming with the kids. I love to swim so this was a blessing.

I went to Michigan's Adventure with my daughter and wore a short sleeved form fitting top and didn't feel self-conscious all day long! That is a small miracle for me. Before surgery I would have refused to go at all. We even rode quite a few of the rides and we both had a blast. I can't wait to go again next year! My daughter is only 6 1/2 so some of the rides were too "scary" for her but next year-watch out!! Laura 60 pounds gone forever

I can mow the grass without stopping to catch my breath or rest. I couldn't even attempt that before. I can sit in the sun, it feels good now; before WLS I was too hot. I can squat and stand up again. I needed help to stand up again if I tried to squat down for something. I can sit in chairs with arms. That's a huge thing for me.

Fun question... I can manicure my own toes! What a thought that I can comfortably reach my feet and breath at the same time! Deb

I did a workout video in front of my fiance... I was always the type that excercised alone with all the shades pulled and the lights off while nobody was home... And to beat it all... I did it in a sports bra and exercise shorts and the video was BELLY DANCING!!!
