GREAT WEEKEND
Hey Guys,
I must say this was a good weekend. I have been on a plataeu and when I think I am past it the weight comes back. Well this weekend we had a family reunion of times with other WLS patients. I ate whatever, heck we all did. Went to the Cheesecake factory ate there twice and even had a cheesecake slice on top of dinner. I ate wings BBQ, had a chinese dish with sweet chicken and rice oh man the bomb, pastas sauces and so on. I didn't eat in bulk but it was great. I just took my mind of the weight. I lost 4 lbs this weekend. And here is it Tuesday and it's still off. Yeah I am eating popcorn right now yummy. But I find that the Beef Jerky is my new best friend with 30g of protien
What have ya'll found that you loved with all the protein and anyone feel me on the plataeu?????
Natalie...I am SOOO Jealous! I love cheesecake I've only lost 5lbs in the last 6 wks...makes me sick to think about it...maybe I will try this new tactic...eat what makes me happy for the weekend I love BBQ wings too I want my plateau to g-o-a-w-a-y!!! I was feeling depressed today, but all your talk of yummy treats made me smile! I too like Beef Jerky...especially the teriaki flavor Yum!

Yeah I know we try sooo hard to follow the books that it was just a relief to see so many people like me wls patient allowing themselves to have a good time. So I decided to cut the rug too. I am glad I did. You lost more than me in the last few weeks so I am the Jealous one LOL. I am happy about this. I don't make a habit of it but it's nice to know that I can control it and it doesn't control me ya know.!!!!!

Go "head wit yo bad self- glad to see you let loose and enjoyed yoursefl... I assume you didn't dump or get sick afterwards??? hopefully not. I wanna do that too but I am DEATHLY afraid of dumping- just never want to experience it- its been bed enuf to just throw something up when I've had to, ya know?
Anything to get the scale to move, though! I may be plateauing right now, but to be honest, I don't know- I try not to go to the evil scale very often- at most, once/wk. Last Thursday- not this past one, but the one before, I was 237 (for the 2nd wk in a row no less!!) but this week I have been not too focused on exercise or my eating. We'll see what happens Monday at my 6 wk follow up with my dr.
My "official" last supper was Cheesecake Factory. Such pleasure, I can't even describe.... ahhh... yummm... -
