weird pattern of weight loss

I find this totally bizzarre. My shoes are too big!! I was putting them on just now and looked at my foot beside the shoe. The shoe is about 1.5 inches too long. LOL Looks like a kid playing dress-up with adult shoes. I never expected this. Have you noticed anything unexpected?

My shoes are loose too! How weird is that? My ring keeps falling off, too, but then, I'm used to that happening when I lose weight. My butt is gone. I have this bizarre flabby protrusion (shelf?) up above my butt, but then, where my butt once was, is flat and loose. When I try to flex my glutes, it looks HILARIOUS because it pushes that shelf out further. One side of my belly (pannis) is hanging lower than the other by about 2 inches, but the short side is trying to unfold, believe it or not! I look at it all like some strange science experiment. This can't be MY body. I can't wait to see some updated pics of you, Cheryl-you are such a success already! I submitted a face pic for my posts the other day-should be up sometime in the next two weeks. Hugs, Susan

Hiya Cheryl! I was hoping my foot size would go down as I wear a 9 1/2 to 10. They have gotten thinner, but not shorter lol. I have room in my sandals where I didnt before. I've tried on smaller sizes at Walmart and cant wear anything smaller than 9 1/2. I am pretty flat footed and I guess i'm doomed to remain a bigfoot lol. But I have noticed more room in the bathroom stalls, and people can get by me now in the isles lol. Melanie

My feet are definately smaller. More loss in the width. Which is good considering I was a 4E. (Fred Flintstone feet as my dear wife calls them). Now I can wear a 2E and squeeze into a D. God, I would love to be a D! I may have slipped about a 1/2 a size because everything feels a little loose.

Susan, that's sweet of you to say. We are all successes. I'm very much looking forward to seeing your face as well. When I get somebody to take another pic of me, I'll post it. I've been camera shy for years so people who know me aren't used to taking pics. LOL Melanie, I know what you mean about the stalls and people passing in aisles. It's odd what you notice now as the weight is coming off. I keep thinking... just how big was I??? John, I hope you get into a D width soon. I suspect it'll make shoe shopping much easier for you. Congrats to us all on our continuing success!!!

My shoes were the first thing I noticed being too big, a week and a half after surgery! I have noticed that I am losing weight differently from how I gained it, or maybe I am just more aware of my body. My upper body and legs are shrinking, still have this big ole belly, but most of us lose weight that way, I believe!
