2 months post today!
Hiya May friends. I'm 2 months post op today and am down 39 lbs. I was hoping to break the 40 lb mark by this day but thanks to my lovely "Aunt Flo" that didnt happen. I gained 2 lbs during my cycle but have returned to 208, which was where I hit before. I'm riding my bike 30 minutes/10 miles every day and trying to focus on protein and liquids. My dh took some photos of me today and i've added them to my picture trail page on my profile if you guys would like to take a look. I'd love to see if anyone can visibly see a difference in me yet. Congrats on your wt loss!! You are doing really good on your excerise's. I have not been doing as much as I should. I was walking everynight,but when I started back to work,I slacked off. I don;t get home from wor****il sometimes 9:00 pm. I really need to star****er aerobics or something. I'm about 10 wks post-op started at 302 lbs and lost 62 lbs. Jeanne
Hiya Jeanne and thanks so much for your kind words! 62 lbs you're doing fantastic!!! I'm beginning to think the exercise is stopping my weight loss. I've been riding for almost 2 wks and its been about that long since i've lost any weight. Swimming burns alot of calories. I am using www.fitday.com to track my calories/carbs/protein and physical activity and swimming is up there in burning the calories. You're doing great, keep it up! God bless!

WOW you are looking good! You definitely look lighter in the after pics!
You are doing GREAT with the exercise. I am still trying to motivate myself to stop being a lazy fat person and become a FIT person.
I'm only down 34 lbs and it's clearly because I am not exercising.

Hiya Susan. Thanks so much for the compliment! I have spent so much time looking at those pictures lol trying to see the differences. I see it most in my face. I think I may have lost a chin or two lol. This may sound nuts but i'm starting to think the exercise has stopped my weight loss. I've been riding the bike almost 2 weeks and its been that long since i've lost any weight. I know that sounds rediculous but muscle weighs more than fat and its possible, isnt it?? Well Melanie, I must say I am not exercising near as good as you are. My 2 month post was yesterday. I have lost 49lbs. been struggling to hit that 1/2 century mark. I did get good exercise in today though. I did a 60min exercise tape all the way!! I also did my swimming exercises like most days. I have had this huge energy boost today, not sure if it was the exercise, or if I am finally getting energy from losing weight. You are doing so good, keep up the good work. I will check your pics out in a sec, and let you know my opinion. I am taking a pic every month and keep it in my WLS album. I will post them someday, LOL.- Melissa
Thats great Melissa! Sounds like you're doing wonderfully! 49 lbs is 10 ahead of me. I just cant wait to break 200. I'm a total scale ***** (I hate that term but it fits). When I get out of bed each morning the first thing I do is pee, then i'm on the scale. I'm addicted. And its rediculous cause its so upsetting if you dont lose. Yet each day i'm right back there again. Anyway, i'd love to see your wls album. You gonna share? LOL God bless!

Hey Melanie!! I sent my before and one month after photo to Kricket to put on my profile, but haven't heard anything yet about it. I just had my 2 month one taken, and it looks very similar to the 1 month not a real big change noticeable. I did go through my rubber maid buckets of clothes!!!! I have 2 buckets to give away, and 1 that fits me now, and still 4 of too small clothes. It would be great if I could get below a size 14, because then I would have to buy new clothes, that is where my clothes end, LOL. That would be great, Mel. I'd love to see the photos. Isnt it wonderful to go into your closet and find things are too big for a change?!? I seperated my shorts the other day into "fits" and "too big" piles. Thats all I have. After the ones that fit now no longer do, i'll have to go shopping. By then it will be cold and i'll start going through the jeans. I got rid of all my fat chick clothes just before my surgery. I had lots of shorts i'd gotten too big for, and several pairs of jeans. Now i'm wearing all the shorts, and most of the jeans. I have a couple of jeans I still cant wedge my butt into. I've never been much into shopping because it was always so depressing. Nothing I liked ever fit, and seeing myself in all my fatness in 5 different mirrors from every angle was frightening!!! LOL anyway, i'd love to see the pics. Thanks hon!
