What good thing have you noticed this week because of your weight loss?

2 Things today. #1. I slept through the night for the first time in years! I didn't toss and turn or wake up with a dry mouth from snoring and sleep apnea. I feel pretty rested. Who knew I could feel this way in the morning??? #2. My blue jeans fit and are almost too big!!! My most recent memory of jeans is that they were painfully tight. These feel soft, comfy and a little loose. I had given up on wearing jeans ever again! Life is good! (Now if my hips will stop hurting, I can start belly dance class next week.) So tell me: what's good in your life?

1. Down 2 pants sizes - almost 3! 2. I have bones!! I can acutally feel them. 3. Having my friends afraid to let their boyfriend or even worse their fiance spend time with me... LOL. I'm engaged so they have nothing to worry about. 4. Having my fiance be amazed by my changes when he hugs me. 5. Incredible boost of self confidiance!!

Being just shy of 3 months, I am amazed at what I have seen change in me. Here is the top 10 1. No back pain when I walk or stand. 2. Exercise is not painful or is it hard to do. 3. I sweat a lot less now. 4. I bought new pants thinking they would be tight, they fit perfect. 5. I now fit into booth when going out. 6. Gave away old clothes via clothing exchange. 7. A lot of old clothes now fit and getting too big. 8. People sit next to me now - many used to give me an extra chair. 9. More energy - a lot more. 10. Eating is more pleasurable. I know that might sound odd, but I actually enjoy things more now - even though there is much less of it. Food tastes better to me now.

Hiya Cheryl! I have 2 daughters, but my oldest one who's 11 lives with her father due to disciplinary problems. She has spent this week with me. She arrived on Monday. She came running over and hugged me, then looked up at me with this funny kinda confused look on her face. She said "mommy, I can get my arms all the way around you with room to spare". It was the coolest moment. Today I was killin time in Walmart and decided for kicks and giggles i'd try on some shorts. I was in an 18 when I started this. I tried on 14's and they fit! I danced a small confined space jig in the dressing room. I have also found that I still have knees. At night when i'm in bed I notice my knees digging into one another. Never had that problem before as i've got very fat legs. I always blamed it on 15 years of softball. Anyway, those are my fav things right now. So can I join that belly dancing class with ya? Sounds like fun! LOL God bless! Melanie

Ladies, you all had great experiences to share today and I am experiencing some of those too. It's weird and it's wonderful. Anybody that want's to belly dance, give it a try. It's alot of fun and a great total body workout!

What a great list of things we can all celebrate! Just a few to add: 1. having my BP taken with a normal sized cuff, being able to tie my shoes in the middle and not off to one side because I can't reach, 3. being able to put on a seat belt and not contort my body in the process, being able to sit in plastic patio chairs and not have them stick to my hiney! I agree with the belly dancing... need to tone this body up! Deb -55lbs/11 weeks
