NEVER FEEL FULL!!
I never feel full! I try to watch what I eat. I have not been measuring...my doctor told me to only eat 1/2 - 3/4 cup at a time. I know I have been eating about a cup at a time. I usually only eat once or twice a day. I am not hungry...but, that head on my shoulders keeps telling me I want to eat!! I am 7 weeks out...am I stretching my pouch??? Or have I already?? I read here that you will start feeling full soon. But, when!!!????? I sure don't want to go back to what I was. I have lost 45 pounds...but only about 5 in the last two weeks. HELP!!!!

For me, it depends on the day and depends on what I eat. If I eat carbs, I definitely don't feel full. If I eat dense protein, I get full after about 20 minutes. Some days, even after eating dense protein, my head still tells me to eat more. These days I'm eating 4 to 5 small meals a day. That seems to help me.
I read on the main board that people drink something when they get head hunger and it helps. It doesn't help me much, but it helps a little. Sunday, I thought I would go crazy with the head hunger. You are not alone!
One other thought: one of the older post-ops said that we aren't supposed to strive for feeling full, we are just supposed to feel satisfied. That's a new concept for me and I'm working on finding out what that feels like. This adjustment phase we are in is hard.
I was told by my doctor, (and it's working well for me) to eat 3 meals a day, definately breakfast eat an egg and 1 piece of bacon or sausage and even 1/2 slice of toasted bread. (lots of protein for your 3 meals)
Eat 2 snacks a day, one in morning before lunch and one after dinner.
For snacks eat some yogurt, a beef stick, adkins bar etc.
Then for dinner eat again lots of protein, if you need some carbs, eat tuna salad with crackers or grilled burger, just 1/2 and toast a bun and eat half only (I buy the low carb buns because they also have more protein in them). Maybe this might help out. If you eat a little less, and a few times a day, not just once or twice a day you won't feel hungry as much. Of course there are days that I am hungrier, but I still get full after eating about 15-20 minutes later.
Hope this can help you out.

I never feel full either. I never feel hungry either.
I make myself eat at least 2 meals a day. Sometimes 3 if I do not forget. But when I do eat it is not satisfying because I do not feel anything. It is really weird. Now I do feel sorda full when I eat 3 oz of baked potatoe. It feels heavy. Other than that NOTHING.
The plan that I am on in indy does not allow you to have bread or red meat for 1 year post op so toast or toasted bun is not an option for me. Just saltine crackers only...
