Protein Shake Recipes - by demand!
Ok here are the recipes I have for
NON-DAIRY shakes. Please make sure to read the lable for the amount of protein that you need. (Usually for me it is 2 scoops per shake)
Also because I am AGB I will put the weeks post op that these are good for.
Keep in mind that all sodas should be flat or almost flat!
(AGB-weeks 1-4 and on)
EASY LEMONADE
GNC lemonade protein powder
water
SCOOP PRO BLEND 55 SWISS VANILLA
6 oz. A&W Diet Root Beer (flat)
1/4 teaspoon root beer concentrate
shake well with 3-4 ice cubes
ORIGINAL ORANGE JUICE CRUSH
4 oz orange juice
vanilla protein equal to 25-35 grams (2 scoops)
6 ice cubes
blend on high speed.
CRAN-RASPBERRY DRINK
Vanilla protein equal to 25-35 grams
1/2 cup cran-raspberry juice with Nutrasweet
1/2 cup water
blend until mixed. if all powder does not blend add a bit of water and try again
PINK LEMONADE SMOOTHIE
protein 25-35 g
1/2 cup sugar free country time pink lemonade (prepared)
4-6 sugar free lemonade ice cubes
blend until smooth
RASPBERRY REFRESHER
6-8 ounces Diet Rite raspberry soda
protein 25-35g
4-6 frozen diet raspberry soda ice cubes
blend until smooth
ORANGE SUNSHINE
6-8 ounces diet orange soda
4-6 diet orange soda ice cubes
protein 25-35g
blenad until smooth
"YOUR CHOICE" SODA
6-8 ounces diet cream soda
protein 25-35g
1 packet of equal
6 frozen diet cream soda ice cubes
1 tablesppon of sugar free flavored syrup (DaVinci)
blend until smooth
(AGB weeks 4-6 and on)
BERRY GOOD SMOOTHIE
put in the blender in this order
3-5 frozen unsweetened strawberries (or 1/2 cup of frozen berries)
2 scoops protein powder (vanilla for flavor)
1 cup orange juice
blend until smooth
TOFU SHAKE (never tried this one!)
protein 25-35g
1/2 tub of Japanese soft tofu
2tbsp cocoa powder 1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup water
2-4 packets of nutrasweet(to taste)
4 ice cubes
blend until smooth
CHERRY BERRY SMOOTHIE
6 oz diet lemon-lime soda
1 oz sugar free flavored syrup (Davinci)
strawberry protein 25-35g
sugar-free cherry Kool-Aid to taste
6 ice cubes
blend
ICED MOCHA
2oz milk substitute
2oz water
2 oz sugar free chocolate flavored syrup (Davinci not hershey's)
1tsp decaf coffee
chocolate protein 25-35g
6 ice cubes
blend
PEANUT BUTTER CUP
2 oz milk substitue
4 oz water
1 tbsp peanut butter
chocolate protein 25-35g
blend

CALIFORNIA ORANGE DELIGHT(dairy)
CREAMSICLE
BANANA CREAM SHAKE (dairy)
CARAMEL MOCHA LATTE(dairy but could be made to non dairy)
PROTEIN ORANGE JULIUS
ORANGE BANANA PROTEIN SHAKE
CHOCOLATE, PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA SHAKE
CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY SHAKE
COCOA SOY SHAKE
RICE CREAM MIX
CHOCOLATE SHAKE
"YOUR CHOICE" SHAKE (different from yc soda)

Kristin, thank you for sharing! These sound great. I'm 8 wks post-op and noticing I'm losing my hair some. I tried a vanilla protein mix I bought at Traders Joes and it had alot of protein in it,but its just so sweet tasting.
I will try some of these recipes,peanut butter cup sounds good.
