One pound over "the club"...

Wow! This is my first time posting, so bear with me. I didn't even know about the half-century club thing...how cool. I was feeling a little down today, not thinking that I am losing as much as I was, worried about my sluggish pace, blah blah, and then I stumbled on this great news. I am so happy...I suppose that if I had my surgery on the 18th of May, and am down 51 lbs., I am doing alright! Sometimes one just needs a bit of reassurance!!

Congratulations on you great weight loss! You're ahead of me by 10 pounds.

You are doing marvelous Hilary!! Be proud of yourself and keep up the good work! Doesn't it feel wonderful? I am down 50 pounds and had surgery on 5/18/04. I can't remember when I felt this good about myself and I have just begun to lose the weight!!!

Congats Hilary! I am 11 weeks post and down 53 pounds....When I start to worry about the pace, I remind myself of my 20 years of "failed" diets and rejoice that the excess weight is finally coming off. I have now lost 1/3 of the excess weight I hope to lose! Keep up the good work!

Congratulations!! It's great meeting that first goal...It was the half century club for me too!
