Hernia/staph infection--surgery 7/13

Man, this sucks. I had a cat scan this morning cause of my staph infection along the incision, and it turns out I have a major hernia. Doc believes it is from 8 days post op when i had a sneezing jag....thinks I tore the abdominal wall then, and it's been coming out since. He was shocked that the results came back as they did as I really don't have any hernia symptoms. Anyway, I'm having surgery to repair next Tuesday. I should be in the hospital overnight and then off work for 2 weeks. Andrea Open RNY-250/220/???

Andrea omg!!! i cant beleive thats what they found. give me the details so i can keep check on you while your back in surgery. so did they say how they were going to close you up since you have had incisional problems? i'll see you on messenger ok.
