When can you start having sex again????????????????????????

My doctor said no activity restrictions after 3 weeks. I am still not "active" because I'm going to the GYN Monday for birth control. It is my understanding that we are EXTREMELY fertile right now while losing weight and my doctor says no pregnancies for 18 months. Christie

I had sex 10 days post op. I was told by my dr. to resume normal activities just no swinging from the lamp post

I did it 2 weeks after my surgery, we took it slow and when I said I could not take something my hubby was very understanding and helpful. It was great all the same. Diane Lap RNY -37.5#

Ok my hubby may kill me for this but... it was kinda funny. He would touch my legs and then skip my tummy to my shoulders! He was so worried about hurting me. But of course all was fine! I think it was about a week after.: love:

I wouldn't even consider it until the pain was GONE!!! I waited about 4 weeks and had NO problems!!! I thank god for that!!! I was afraid of ruining the mood!!! I would have had one frustrated man!!! haha

I was only home three days and we had no problems. I've had 2 c-sections in my lifetime and to me the surgery has a lot of simularities to a c-section. I think that when the time is right, you'll know it.......Don't wait too long!!
