OMG OMG OMG

I was messing around, cleaning out some drawers and found some shorts that I haven't worn in 4 or 5 years. They FIT!!!!!!

That's AWESOME! I too, have been wearing clothes that I haven't fit into in FOREVER! Is it not the Greatest feeling in the world! I am so proud of everyone here. We are making such great progress.....Keep it up!!! Wendy

Way to Go Cheryl!!! I've been saying for months that I can't wait to go shopping "in my closets." I will have a bit of a wait. The first two sizes down: I was pregnant during those. So, I went to my cousins yesterday, she had surgery in Oct., bought bunches of those two sizes. I'm hoping they'll take me down to my 14's and then I'm home free til I reach goal. Ladies, it's wonderful. It's weird, too, but wonderful nonetheless. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out for each of us as we shop in our closets and in our friends/family closets. I have several friends who are post op who are saving up clothes for me. I've already received some of it and when I looked through the clothes, I couldn't imagine ever fitting into anything there. Now, I can see it coming. It's very encouraging.

That is just the greatest feeling!! I have put on two tops this past week, that I have not worn for years, and golly, golly...I looked good!! Even my son and fiancee said I did. My son is 19...so that IS an accomplishment!! Ha. I can't wait to go shopping in my boxes down stairs...I know I have some really cute clothes from the last time I lost weight (on my own...and then regained it!!) and I am going to get them out in a couple of weeks!! Or sooner. I have a pair of shorts I have hanging right now...I want to get into them by July 4th...which is next Sunday. Don't know that I will...but, that is my goal!! Jeannie

I had the same thing happen to me.. shorts, dress shirts, etc. - Sometimes being a pack rat pays off!

I just love the term, "shopping in my closets" LOL I'm gonna hit those thrift shops!! Hugs Debbie r.
