UHM GRAPHIC QUESTION PLZ HELP!!

Hello all I will keep it short and sweet. I had surgery May 10th and I am on pureeds still and dealing with some soft foods. I had a second surgery for complications and a hernia repair on the 24th of May. QUESTION... I have not had a bowl movement in 4 days. I am nervous/scarred. My hernia didn't come back did it.?!?!?!?!?! I can't simply can't do another surgery never in a millions years. I had to ask you all hoping perhaps I am not the only one who has had this experience. Hi Nat! I had the no bm problem appx. one week after surgery. I used a suppository, and drank some calcium citrate. Since then, I haven't had any problems. I am not familiar with hernias, but it doesn't sound very nice. Maybe try something for constipation, and see if it gets things moving.

THANKS I have gotten some good insight. I am scarred to take any medicines of anykind. I don't want to have to do that. I chalk it up to being the fact that my poor body hasn't had food in so long it don't know what to do with it.... NAT

I've had a touch of constipation also. I think it's kinda common since we don't eat much fiber. Why don't you try some metamucil or other laxative?

Nataline, I had my surgery on the 10th to and I am having the same problem as well try getting in more water in for the next few days and that should help
