Not Loosing...

I lost 15 pounds in the first 2 weeks post op, and 3 more since then. My month is up on 5-14 and I still have only lost 18 pounds!!! Kinda freaking out a bit... Any suggestions?

I too have stopped loosing. In 2 weeks, I lost appx 20 lbs. I am now at 3 weeks today, and I am at 20 lbs. This bothers me a lot. I here that we should really up our protein and water. I am trying to, but not seeing any diff. yet.

Evidently it is not that unusual.... I just read in the paper of another person that had the same thing happen. She said that after the 3rd or 4th month she really started loosing. I am Praying that that is what I will finally do.... start loosing a lot! Thanks for the support!

Hi Stephaney, I am 3 weeks post op and I only lost 20 lbs. I lost most of it the first 2 weeks but then it was very slow. Yesturday I ate more often and concentrated on mostly protien and the scale did move down one more pound. I hope this helps. My surgery date was 5/24/04. What was yours? To get more protein in, why don't you try the unflavored Unjury powder? It truly has no taste and you can mix it in drinks, soups, food, etc. Don't worry, you aren't alone. I'm stuck at 18 pounds at 3 weeks. I'm hoping that it will get better soon. I just started with the Unjury powder myself and I think upping my protein will give me more energy and allow me to get more exercise.

i had mine on the 25 and my name is cheryl also!! i've lost 17 lbs at 3 weeks. i drink 2 protein shakes a day plus get more with the food i'm eating. FRUSTRATING! my liquid intake may not be enough. I struggle to get 8 glasses in. guess it's just the way our bodies are gonna do this.
