Starting week 3 and pureed foods
Hello to all! I just started pureed foods, and so far so good. I am down 18 lbs!!!! I am worried that starting foods will cause constipation since I have not been as regular up to this point. I cooked for my family yesterday, and put some in the blender for me. Looked gross, but was very tasty!. My question is what to do about constipation?
Hi Susan we have the same date. I haven't had any problem with consitpation but i think I might have tried pureed foods a little earlier than most people. I could tolerate water but the sugar free jello and the broth just wasn't working for me. SO to date I have tried a bake potatoe with cheese and sour cream- only got in about three bites, I also tired potted meat(armoire) couldn't believe that it has 12g of protein. Takes for ever to get the can down but it hasn't come up. Tonight I had tuna fish and I have been waiting to see if that will come back up but it had been about three hours and it still hasn't come up so I am hoping that it will stay down. Any congrats and good luck on the reintroducing of new foods. I went to my Dr. today and by his scale i was down 23 pounds but I haven't been able to get much protein in or the energy to do much exercising.
