My doc said to go ahead and have sex when I felt like it. I felt like it at 2 1/2 weeks. It was great. Listen to your body.

"Has anyone had sex under one month post op." Um...yup. One week. At the consult the day before surgery my partner said to the doctor, "I know we have to wait a while, but is it penetration or ****** that's the problem?" I nearly died, right there, on the spot. The doc just laughed and said "You don't have to wait. Let her tell you how much and when. If it hurts, stop." I mean, we were stuck in a hotel for a week post-op, and I couldn't eat and there's only so much telly you can watch, yanno? There's this nice flat on your back, him on his side thing, imagine a "T", no weight on you, very gentle, no big moving around. Ah, the Kama Sutra...my new cook book.
