Question about Cigna/Medicaid

I have a friend that is looking into gastric bypass and she currently has Cigna and Medicaid, she does not have a computer and so I'm trying to get information for her. She lives in Nevada Reno area. I was wondering if anyone on here has had Cigna and Medicaid who has been approved for the surgery in the Reno area and what were there requirements and steps you had to take to get approved. I would appreciate any information anyone can give me. I guess another questions would be what doctor with in this health group would be supportive of the surgery, I personally have had the surgery and watched a lot of people go thru so much trying to get approved and I am not familiar with this these two insurance companies to give any advice.
