I'm having random patches of extremly dry skin. I'm using shea butter on them but they won't go away. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and if you've found anything to get rid of it. Lap-Rny 5-11-04

Cassie, I am having the same problem. I have only noticed it on my face---which is NOT a good thing. I am going to get some oil of olay soap and use a moisturizer at night. Let me know if you find anything else that works. Tracey [email protected]

My arms and legs are really dry. I am looking for an answer too. I use Vaseline lotion now, but they still are real dry. I definately get my 64oz. fluids in, so what's up?

Yes, I have patches on my hands and head. My primary doctor told me to use hydrocortizone. She said it is probably due to the stress of the surgery and that it should get better. I know drinking lots of water helps to stay hydrated so we dont' dry out. LOL Just had a visual of a prune. ha! I am sleep deprived, so don't mind me. Good Luck. Wendy DS 5-11-04

Yes, I have dry skin real bad, any where I can reach I put cruel lotion on and some times I add hydracortizone cream on it... stops the itching. Oh yes I have noticed that after the water aerobics it is even worse. Diane Lap RNY -25#
