It's been 3 weeks and I am still feeling really good. I am eating real food, very small amounts, but getting everything down without any problem. I am amazed that I am not hungry! Feeling stronger every day! My home scale says I have lost 17 pounds! This is the best time of the year to lose weight! For the first time in my life, I won't dread the summer and taking off my big bulky coat that I used to hide behind. Good luck to all the other May Surgery folks! We are definitely on the losing side! Lynda S.

Lynda, I too am 3 wks post op and feeling great! I'm glad I'm not the only one that has lost lbs in the teens...I've lost 18 lbs. I was reading another post who was 3 weeks p.o. and she lost 27lbs and I was a bit upset but I am also eating more than I should. I had to have an upper GI and a small bowel series done to see what's going on. The surgeon said I should not be eating as much or as often as I am. I have found though if I wait 1 minute between bites this helps out greatly! Now after seeing your post I know I'm still on track with my weight loss. Thanks for posting. Blessings, Alicia

Lynda, Thank you for your reply on my post. It's great to be on the losing side. 17 lbs is a great lost. Although I do get hungry but it is not the same as before surgery. Now I am not rushing to stuff myself full of food. Way to Go !!!!!!
