Counting down the hours!

I am having my surgery on Wednesday the 26th! I am so excited....yet very scared....all this to be normal I am told. I have the "need" to write letters to my loved ones.....just in case. Some family members think it is dumb...I do not however...... Wish me luck! Lora

Good luck with your surgery! I know you must be very excited. Keep a positive attitude and everything will be fine. I am 3 weeks post op and feeling great! I'll tell you a nothing is as bad as you imagine it will be! Go ahead and write the letters, I did. It made me think of the real reasons why I want to live and needed this surgery. Write your letters, it may make you cry a little, but it will probably ease the tension you are feeling. Tomorrow will be the first day of your new life. Lora, I'm having surgery tomorrow too My brain is mush right now...not only am I on the liquid diet for today and really feel hungry...I know that tomorrow is only a few hours away. We're (my family) staying the night at my brother in laws house so I'm only a few minutes away from the hospital (vs. 1 hour). I'm first in the morning, gotta be there at 5:30 yah!! I don't think I could stand being any later in the day...I want to be FIRST Good luck tomorrow, I will say a prayer for you and your family! Michelle
