Surgery was on 5-20-04

I had surgery on Thursday 5/20, and all went well. I came home from the hospital on 5/21 in the afternoon. I have been doing very well, but today not feeling that great. I had a strange lump that is kinda red and bruised looking show up this morning on my right wrist, so back to the hospital I went and they have no clue, placed me on antibiotics and sent me on my way. They said it could be that I was handled ruff, or an infection, bite of some sort, they don't have a clue. I don't know about any weight loss or gain as I have no weighed myself yet. My temp at the hospital was 99.4 this morning and my noprmal temp runs about 97.6. I am still quite sore but that is really about all the complaints that I have. I have my post op apt this Thursday so we will see if there has been a weight loss. I am sure praying there has been, I don't want to become discouraged this early in the ballgame.

Linda, Congrats on the surgery! Hope you are feeling a little bit better....and dont fret if the weight hasnt started to go away yet, remember how long it took to get there! I am having surgery on Wed. 5-26-04....I am so excited, but very scared as well! Keep your chin up...dont get discouraged!! Lora
