I'm home from surg.05-20

I had my surg. Thurs morn. and I guess everything went fine. My husband told me that they took my gallbladder and my appendix out. I am a little tired and sore. Thanks God for keeping me safe. I hope things get better every day. I came home late yesterday night. Gained 3 lbs. I bet I'll loose that REAL quick. I can't gain much on s/f popsicles and soup.

Hi Jenn! I am new out here, but I still wanted to say congrats! My surgery is on Wednesday, the 26th! I can hardly wait....I no longer have a gallbladder, but I still have my appendix....is this a normal procedure or did you already have some problems with it? Congrats again! Lora

I never knew I had any problems with my appendix! I won't be eating very much of anything, no trees, no rocks, no shrubs...so I shouldn't need it anyway! Wow, your surgery is right around the corner! Are you doing O.K.? I think I may have lost 4 lbs. I have been having a real hard time with my family eating around me. I found that if I leave the room and come on to this site, I forget about all the junk they're probably eating. When I feel my weekest (mentally), and I want to give in to my temptations...I come here. I always feel good here. Good Luck on your surg. I will think of you and say a prayer.
