One Week Post-Op tomorrow...

Hi everyone... Tomorrow will be one week after surgery, and I feel great! Went shopping yesterday, walked it all, felt wonderful. I can only compare the pain to having my C sections and hernia repairs, they seem to be about the same pain wise. I'm getting all my drinks in and doing well so far. So far no regrets... had wonderful help in the hospital, my husband has also had this surgery, he was done April 30th... so we are doing this together. One day at a time, I feel I have more pain in the morning and at bedtime, the rest of the day I'm usually pain free until I hit my belly where the incisions are. I go Thursday to have my staples removed, no idea if I've lost any weight yet, but I was able to lose 34 pounds right before surgery... every little bit counts... please feel free to email me with any comments or questions all I have now is time to relax in front of the computer or watch tv... I had open, about 8 inches...and I have no staples or stitches at all! My doctor uses superglue!! Hey it works and Ive been walking upright since I woke up from surgery! Crazy huh?!?
