Surgery 5/18, home on 5/19

I just wanted to let everyone know about my experience so far. I'm 3 days out and have lost 6 lbs. I feel a little weak and my tummy is sore but doing great other than that. I can't say the liquids are very tastey, seem to be getting bored with that. I had my surgery at Suburban in Louisville. Lucky me was the first to be banded there. All went well, the nurses were great, Dr. Geller is a very wonderful doctor. I plan on going back to work on 5/24/04, I have a desk job so my doc is ok with it as long as I feel up to it.

Paulette, Just remember to take it easy!! Even though you are feeling better, you still had surgery, sometimes it's easy to forget, when your feeling on top of the world in terms of Emotions! Loosing weight...I can not wait They've moved my date up to May 26th (from June 9th) almost here Congratulations and good luck! Michelle
