My surgery was 5-14 at Stanford, and I came home on Mon 5-17.......I'm feeling great, no pain, no pain meds....barely used them in hospital, everyone at the hospital was great, they all took great care of me, I would go there again in a second! Dr Safadi was terrific, I even wonder if he really did the surgey because I feel so good, Ha.........I am doing my liquids and getting around good......I'm a little sore but not bad, it was sure good to get home and sleep in my own bed......anyway, just a quick update......bye for now...Linda

Great to hear that you made it through the surgery good, and are now at home again Linda I felt the same way when I came home on Sunday---I was there almost a week--had two surgeries-but it seemed like only one...no pain hardly. Great medical staff also. Best wishes to you and many blessings

Hi Linda, Congratulations on your surgery and good recovery My surgery was 5/7/04 and you sound a lot like me. I, too, wondered if they did the surgery since I felt so good. I even asked my surgeon on my post-op visit if he was sure he did the surgery! He laughed and showed me his surgical notes, and yes, I had surgery. Here's hoping we both continue to feel so good and the pounds keep falling off! I lost 15 pounds and am able to eat everything I try. I do get very full, very fast, but no other side affects. Again, congraulations, Keep on the good work! Lynda S.
