May25th start of my new life

Hey everyone , Well the day is coming fast .I am nervious and have butterflies in tummy , and excided all in one. All that is left is alot of praying and surport from everyone that is willing to give ... My family are so against me doing this but i have to for me . I want to live and play ,dance ,and runnnnnnn with my grand babies. They all keep saying we love you the way you are well why can't they love me after i am done with my weight lose.well thanx to all that sent me the nice words Love you all dearly . Love Susan Neal

You are right you have to do it for you. They are more than likey scared of you having the surgery because of the risk of surgery in general. Thats how my SO was. We sat down and discussed it. I basically told him that I was going to do this and I needed his support. He could either help me make this walk or get out of my way. He is now my biggest fan, well besides my mom. I wish you the best of luck and hope that your loved ones will be there to support you. If they dont, we are here for you. I will send up some specail thoughts for you on Tuesday. Btw.. Hey Susan...I do not post on here very much but where are you having your surgery? I am having mine on May 25th too!! StVincent Carmel.

I was visiting the Indiana board and posting there when I was directed over here. I did not realize that this board was for all states.... My surgery is on May 25th at St Vincent Carmel IN....

Susan- I hope to be on the losing side with you. My surgery is for May 24th, depending on if I can get rid of this chest congestion. I had a sinus infection and I am on meds. I will keep you in my prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.-Melissa

Congratulations Susan on doing the surgery. I am having it done on the 25th also and I am feeling just like you are.. But tell yourself next month at this time it will be all over and I will have lost 20 lbs at least.. I know I am really excited and nervous at the same time.
