Hey Everyone Well this is it. Tomorrow is my BIG day. I've tried to stay as calm as I could. There were a few up and down episodes that were really drastic. But all in all, I've been calm. I'm as ready as I can be. I want to thank everyone for your encouraging words and best wishes. I continue to read them and they continue to give me comfort. I appreciate each one of you. I plan to have a quiet day today but I will be reading the board as much as possible. I want to share a bible verse that I found not too long ago. I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner to encourage others before me. Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." This has helped me and I hope this can encourage all of you also. Remember me in your prayers. Claudia D D

Claudia,my big day is also tomorrow. I feel relatively calm..yesterday was worse for whatever reason. I am on clear liquids and still have to do a bowel prep but I guess this is a small price to pay for a healthier life.Good luck to you and God bless! Kim

Claudia- You will be in my prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. That bible verse sure hits it on the head. These pass few days I have had to remember that God is in control, and with us where ever we are. I hope to be joining you soon on the loosing side May 24th. I am still trying to get over this sinus infection.God bless you -Melissa

Claudia, Remember THIS is not the hard part! You have been going through the hard part for years of your life. There will be work to heal, and work to lose but it is much much better than work to merely live. We all have faith in you... you have taken time to research, found a surgeon you are comfortable with, and now you take a step forward through the door that leads to the rest of your life. Shoot us a post when you are on the losing side so we can know how you're doing. Also, try to keep track of what happened in the hospital for those of us who still have some time before we go in... I can't tell you how much better I feel when I read a detailed account of the hospital stay! Much love and quick recovery vibes coming your way!
