6 days post op

I got home yesterday after an open RNY. Had lots of adhesions. Had to stay an extra day due to asthma problems. Didn't do to well drinking after I got home. Better today. Pretty tired but not too sore. The gas and diahrea are very annoying. When does it become constipation??? Clear protein drinks are awful. Looking forward to tomorrow and full liquids. Down 11 pounds since the day before surgery and 16 from a few days before that. A good start. Anyone else have the 'hots & colds'? Part of me is hot at the same time some part is freezing. It varies parts. Slept in the recliner as to not wake up hubby doing the cover dance thing.

Yes, yes, yes!!! I too am 6 days post op from open rny and am suffering from the hots & colds. Doctor's office told me just to watch it to see if it continues. May be related to the fact that I was not getting all fluids in and was only eating 1oz. let me know if you hear anything else. Tracey
