Fighting sinus!

Hi all! I waited for over 2 years to get everything lined up and get a date, May 25th, and d*** if I havent gotten a sinus infection. I have been fighting it off with anti-biotics and everything I could try since last monday. I have until wends. when I go for my pre-op physical to kick its butt! If not, they will reschedule. If I could get any suggestions and lots of prayers, I would be grateful.

Takes lots of hot showers to steam your head! Don't consume any alcohol since it can interfere with the antibiotics. If you are in a heavily pollenated area maybe use a mask so you don't inhale any more of the yellow stuff Sorry you're not feeling well... I'm sending lots of healing energy your way!

Oh Stephanie Stephanie- Honey I am in your boat! I have my surgery scheduled for May 24th, and I went to my primary Dr on the 13th , he put me on amoxicillin and I am not any better I go back for a check up today. I am depressed and scared. I will keep you in my prayers for this to go away so you can keep your surgery date. I already had my pre admission testing. Take care, and I do know how you feel right now- Melissa

Hey Guys! I am scheduled for May 25th in Wheeling WV and started to get a cold a couple of days ago. So far no fever just a dry cough and a little bit of sinus drainage. I am praying mine isn't postponed either! I am loading up on vitamin C. Good luck to all!!! Kristy

OK, Ya'll really have me worried. I just went to a new PCP last week. He checked me out and said I looked ok. I explained to him that I KEEP a sinus infection. He wanted me to go ahead with antibiotics since my surgery is so soon. I'm taking them, but I don't know that it will work. I have a sinus infection more time than not. Will they really cancel it for sinus trouble? Christie
