Surgery MAy 20th!

Hi all, My surgery is next Thursday. I have to be at the hospital at 5:00am, I am getting both nervous and excited at the same time. I just wanted to ask for everyone's prayers! It seems all we hear now is the negativity associated with WLS, I hope to be one of the successes. The message boards here on OH have been a lifesaver! Hi Sharon! My surgery is May 24th and I am feeling the same way that you are! I feel like I am on an emotional rollercoaster. Sometimes I am so excited for my future that I feel like I am going to burst just thinking about the world that is going to open up to me. And other times I just want to cry thinking about the "possible" negatives. I have been getting teary very easy since I got my date scheduled. Seems like my husband and son (both fit) don't understand...and they probably don't because they have never been overweight! I am glad that I found obesity help and now I can connect with people going through the same thing. Let me know how you are doing...let's keep in touch. Good luck to you! It does come with some negativity, I think thin people are just worried that they may have some competition coming!
