a week in the hospital

i am finally home after a week in the hospital. I was not able to be released in the normal 3 days because my bowels were sluggish. Due to the excess gas I was not able to eat for 5 .5 days. I gained almost 30 lbs of fluid. Now im home, have lost all the fluid and am officially a loser! I feel great! Thanks to everyone for your support and prayers Melissa

Melissa glad you are home and on the loosing side! I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery. My surgery isn't until the 24th so it is good to see how others have managed. Take care and keep us posted- Melissa
