Cardiologist being un-cooperative

My cardiologist has decided not cooporate. He claims he sent 2 letters clearing me for surgery, but the nurse at the hospital where I'm having surgery said they were 2 scribbled pieces of paper not giving much info. I called yesterday to see if I could fax him the EKG I had taken at P.A.T. which they felt was abnormal and he refused saying he has done enough already. Left me in tears. The nurse said she will take care of it. They are going to fax him a form to sign saying he has seen me in the last year and if he doesn't reply she's going to hook me up with a cardiologist there. She's been an Needless to say I'm switching cardiologists.

Sandra, Just remember.... everything happens for a reason... and perhaps this is all happening for a reason that you don't know yet, but may be revealed to you (or not)!! So, as much of a pain in the butt this delay is... remember that this is all in God's timing!!! That cardiologist sounds like a total poop and I hope you do get a new one... He certainly does not seem to have your best interest at heart... and perhaps he should also be reported... (that's not such great bedside manner is it???) Hi Loree, As of yesterday late afternoon, all is on schedule. I faxed him a somewhat angry message and he called me back and filled out all the paperwork the Anthesiology Dept. needed. Of course he totally put a spin on the whole conversation of the day before and acted like a complete but I'm still looking for a new cardiologist. So here's to him Good luck to you Keep in touch
