I'm home from surgery!!!

Well,my surgery was on Monday.And now I'm finally home!!Everyone at BTC was fantastic.My experience there was great.I had no complications(thank god).There was a woman there from Long Island,who had to be brought back into OR because she had a leak.She was supposed to go home tomorrow.I lucked out I guess.Not to sound cruel..not my intention.Everything is going great.I've lost 6 pounds since Monday.I was surprised by that.Forget trying to burp...I heard it was gonna be hard but I didn't know it was THAT hard..lol.And last nite I got those god awful gas pains.I thought I was gonna die.It finally passed late lastnite,and I was able to fall asleep.Just looking forward to finally sleeping in my own bed after 4 days.I missed my kids & hubby.And when I walked in the door and started talking to my conure,he went nuts trying to get to me..he's such a good bird.My ferrets went crazy when the saw me too.I missed my babies!!Glad to be home and back on line!!!

Glad your home, please remember to take care of yourself and dont overdo it. Even if you feel good. Im scheduled for RNY on the 27th. I hope I can post a note just like yours.

I'm glad that you are home with no problems. That's Great! I had my surgery on May 3rd and I too am also doing great. No leaks etc...My biggest worry was and still is blood clots. I walk twice a day per md guidlines. If you follow your doctors orders you should have smooth sailing. I have been fine. I only once in awhile get some head hunger at night, but it is nothing I can't handle. Hope you have a smooth recovery. God Speed Erin Emerson
