My 5-20-04 surgery

Well, here it is a week before surgery and I don't feel nervous at all. Is this normal? Lots of my friends and co-workers, etc. say THEY'RE nervous, but think I'm weird for not being. Am I? Maybe I feel inside it will go well and I'll be ok, I don't know. Any thoughts? And I'm kind of wondering how anesthesia goes since I've never had it before. I hear you say some pretty wild things sometimes! Well, I hope all other May surgeries go great and I will say a silent prayer for you all! Wishing you all the best!!

Hi Kari! I am thrilled to share this surgery date with you. I really have not been nervous either. I feel really good about my decision, as I'm sure you do too. I had a little crying last night when I went to bed, but I think I wouldn't be normal if little things like this didn't happen. Keep me posted on your thoughts, feelings, and journey.
