5/14/04 Anyone?

I am having my surgery on 5/14/04. Is there anyone else out there having their surgery on that date? Just curious. My original date was 5/25/04, however I was given the opportunity to move the date up. Of course I jumped for it!!!! Too busy to be nervous since I had a week's notice of the change!

Congratulations. I pray for you Gail that you have a speedy surgery and successful weightloss. Both I and my son Andrew are both having surgery this Thursday 5/13/2004 in Atlanta, Ga. I know how you feel!!!

Hi Angie, I am having RNY LAP on 05/14 as well. My doctor has me on a 5 day liquid fast - ugh! How about you?

I am not on a liquid fast. I do know that the surgeon asks that you try to lose 5 to 10 lbs the week prior. My mom had the surgery on 4/14. I was scheduled for 4/25 and had the opportunity to up my date to 4/14 and went for it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to up my date to see the surgeon again and I see him 4/13. Good thing I kind of know what I need to be doing. Good luck to you Christine and I look forward to hearing your success stories!!!! Angie

Im having surgery on 5-14 as well. Im SOOOOOOOOOOOO nervous. I have so much to do and cant seem to get my butt in gear to get it all done. haha. Ill be praying for all of us. Take care everyone Tessa
