One week from today until a new me!

I am scheduled next Friday. I am so glad that so many of you have posted how well you are doing since having the surgery this last week. It is really helpful. I have such a jammed packed week ahead. I have a conference from Tuesday thru Thursday and will drive home Thursday evening in order to be home and at the hospital on Friday. I start taking my new meds and vitamins this Sunday. Pray that my INR is less than 1.5 on Thursday. Although the clinic wants me to have everything settled so they gave me a vitamin k pill to take if needed. I am so nervous but really excited too. Reminds me of waiting for my son to arrive. I will finally be successful and on my way to a much healther me! Drinking tons of water because I am sure that I will be thirsty on Friday night and Saturday until they let me have something. i know they will offer some swabs but still my head cant get around that. DH has offered to take me to my favorite restaurant but to be really honest I am not really interested in going. I think that it has to do something with the thought that I will never be able to eat there again, which is not true it just means I will eat differently when I am there right? Hi Gerriann Yes i know exactlly how u feel. I am having mine done on tuesday morning. I am excited and nervous as you said. It gets a little more intense each day. Ill let you know when i get back home how i feel ok? God bless you. Ill be praying for you.
