Hi Chris, I just had my surgery on Tuesday and came home on Friday. I'm having a bit trouble understanding how much fluids we are suppose to be taking in. The simple things in life are the hardest they say. Is it just 6-8 oz. per day including the meals. It seems like that is not enough to stay hydrated? Can you help? How are you doing it? Glad to be home too Pat

Hi Pat, I was told that I had to sip water all day long , wanted me to get about 64oz in a day. Stop 30 minutes before and after eating, but other than that sip, sip, sip. They told me to get one of those baby sippy cups so to keep the air down. I haven't had any problems drinking. maybe I'm a ferak but no problems at all to speak of. Well, I take that back, I think I have turned into a blood hound, because I pick up every smell of food cooking for miles around. The weather has been so nice here and everyone is BBQing and it's killing me, lol Make sure you get your fluids you don't want to get dehydrated. Anthing else you need help with feel free to write. My docotrs office sent me home with a WLS bible and read it evey day. Chris
