My date is in 5 days. Im so excited

My doctor says i cant have anyhing to eat until after surgery. I am starving. Does anyone else have to do this?

No mine starts clear liquids Monday pm. nothing after midnight. He may just be getting you ready. Every dr is different. God Bless. Tina

My big day for WLS is also 5-11-04 and I just can not have anything after 12 noon 5-10-04. I wonder why your doctor is doing this to you???

Hmm.....Mine is in 5 days also, so we share the excitement! I cant wait. My doctor says I have to be on clear liquids starting 1 day before, but I have to be taking milk of magnesia for 3 days before surgery. EWWW! Well, good luck with your surgery! Hope all goes well.
